This site answers 'should I open one, where to open it, and how to manage it after opening.' It does not answer proxy real-name verification, guaranteed approval, or cash-out.
Relationship between this site and MP
Is hongkongvcc.com an official card issuer?
No. This is a regional information site to explain Hong Kong scenarios clearly and guide you to download MP. Card issuance and account entity are subject to the official MPChat / MP Card documentation.
Do I need to register an email on this site?
No. This site has no login. Registration, verification, card opening, and freezing are all done in the MP App.
Card capabilities
What is the difference between a virtual card and a physical card?
A virtual card provides a card number, expiry date, and security code, suitable for online merchants. A physical card is for in-store and ATM use. Both are managed in the MP App.
What assets are supported?
Official documentation: first deposit supported stablecoins (USDC, USDT) into MP Wallet, then activate the card. Spending is converted to local currency.
Can I freeze the card or set limits?
Yes. The official website states: manage spending limits, freeze the card, and receive real-time transaction alerts in the App.
Hong Kong local comparison
I already have a BOC / HSBC credit card. Do I still need a virtual card?
If your local card is sufficient, you don't need one. A virtual card fills the gap for overseas subscriptions, ad backends, and scenarios requiring budget isolation.
Can I use a virtual card for cash-out?
No. It should only be used for legal purchases, subscriptions, and ad spending. Users bear the consequences of any misuse.
Card opening and verification
Is identity verification mandatory?
Subject to the requirements at the time in the App. Verification is part of the official process. This site cannot do it on your behalf, nor guarantee how long it takes.
How long does card opening take?
Downloading and registration are usually quick; verification and activation depend on whether the information is complete and on official review. This site does not claim 'card issued in seconds'.
